A Real Get Away from it all Location! Sleeps 6/8 (3 Bedrooms)
This superb villa is set back one block from the beach, a 1 min walk away. The location is truly
gorgeous with a real out island feel, so peaceful and quiet. The living area is
comfortable and homely with everything thought of for your stay. Follow in the
footsteps of Jonny Depp and the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean who used the
beach as access for filming, and ate at our local restaurant - Santanas in
Williamstown. There is a lovely lush garden area, decked, with a cabana for
BBQ's and hammock for those times that you just can't move! Humming birds are
regular visitors. The house has been newly completed and furnished so
everything is clean and sparkling! The pool room bar has a separate
refrigerator waiting to be stocked up, and there is a table tennis top for
those who fancy some activity in an evening. Just let us know if you have any
special requirements and we will try to provide them for you.

Changeover
day
Changeover days are flexible but preferred would be a Saturday.

bedroom 1 king size bed, walk in closet, plenty of storage.
Bedroom 2, 1 queen size bed.
Bed 3, has 2 full size beds.
Bedrooms are on the ground floor. All rooms have hair dryer, alarm clock
radio, air-con. Fab cotton sheets and comforters.
Bathrooms:

to master - double basin area, leading to bathroom with full size bath and
separate shower with wc.
En suite to bed 3 - shower and basin and wc.
Bath 2 next to bed 2 has walk-in shower with basin and wc. All fitted with Grohe and Duravit.
Kitchen:

kitchen and diner, Kitchen aid hob/oven all conveniences provided microwave,
freezer down to your grater and corkscrew.

room has, washing machine and dryer, ironing board and iron. Pegs and washing line outside. Indoor cloths horse.

Accessibility
Ground floor sleeping accommodation, with staircase to open plan living
accommodation. A few steps to the entrance of house.
May not be suitable for some disabilities. No
wheelchair access.
Outside
Outdoor decked patio area, with a cabana, housing the BBQ and hammock. Sun
loungers provided for the garden area. Sun umbrella provided to take to the
beach. Terraces on the front of the house with comfy seating and tables
provided, downstairs is screened and upstairs is open to enjoy the views and
breeze. All outdoor areas are well lit at night, with terraces having lighting
and fans. Outdoor showers facility.
Coast/Beach The house
sits just back from the Tropic of Cancer beach which is a 2 min walk away.
There are many lovely beaches on Little Exuma and Great Exuma, just explore,
the locals will help you find the best spots for swimming and snorkeling.
Bonefishing is a very popular attraction on this Island. You can also kayak
through the eco marine park. The blue hole is fantastic for diving and
snorkeling, this is found on Stocking Island and there are companies who can
arrange trips.
Golf
Great Exuma is home to the superb Emerald Bay golf course at the Four Seasons
Resort. A 5 star luxury complex. Buggies, rental of equipment and tuition is
all available. Distance is a 50 min drive.
Travel
Island airport is Georgetown, Exuma, (GGT) serviced from Nassau or Miami, or Ft
lauderdale and Atlanta. By American Airlines, Continental and Bahamas Air. The
house is a 40 min drive from the airport. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Local services in Williams Town 5 min drive. Main shopping and essentials can
be found in Georgetown 30min drive away. Four Seasons resort with day spa and
golf course is a 50 min drive at Emerald Bay.
Further details
Georgetown Great Exuma, holds the Family Island Regatta in April when the
island can get very busy. You will find many things of interest here at the
local Straw market with the ladies handmade goods. Supermarkets sell all sundry
items and phonecards if required. Boat hire is available at Minns boatyard in
Georgetown. You can also catch the water taxi to Stocking Island here for the
traditional Sunday Hog roast at Chat and Chill. All the yatchies gather for
volleyball and beach games or just to chill out.
Booking notes
We will accept cash, and bankers cheques or wire / bill payments to our
account. 50% required at the time of booking and the final payment two weeks
before the rental start date.
A bond of US$ 500 will be taken by our key holder in the Bahamas and refunded
on leaving the property provided no damage has occurred.
Refunds are given up to 6 weeks before the rental start date for the full
deposit, and a $200 fee will be deducted from the deposit if you cancel within
six weeks of the start date.
